Get Consent
- Tell the person who you are (your name), that you are trained in first aid, and that you are here to help.
- Ask for consent to help them, if they say yes, proceed with care. If they say no, do not touch them, call 911/EMS and tell them the person has refused help, and try to stay nearby the injured person if possible.
