Sports Medicine is the medical practice of physical fitness and the treatment and prevention of injuries that occur from athletic activities. Before anyone can become a sports medicine professional they have to go to medical school and have residency training. The medical requirements can be anywhere from having to go to school after high school for a minimum of 2 years or up to 13 years.
